Hi, I’m Alicia, the face behind Corso Viaggio.

The name Corso Viaggio is inspired by my Italian roots, where Corso means ‘river’—a symbol of the flowing, ever-changing journey we take in life, and Viaggio means ‘travel,’ representing the paths we explore as we connect with the world. For me, travel has always been more than just visiting new places—it’s about immersing myself in the essence of a destination, embracing its culture, and discovering the stories it has to share.

With a background in hospitality, I’ve always been driven by a passion for serving others, creating memorable experiences, and connecting people to the heart of a place. As I traveled, I discovered a deep love for boutique hotels—those unique, intimate spaces that reflect the soul of their surroundings. The way these hotels weave together sustainability, design, and local community—from the food and beverage offerings to the curated experiences they provide—has influenced my approach to travel. I believe that a true journey goes beyond sightseeing. It’s about connecting with a place’s essence, its people, and its stories.

When I’m not planning travel, you can find me in the kitchen—my at-home sanctuary. As an Italian, you'll never come to my house and not be fed! Otherwise, I’m often exploring the rugged beauty of Ontario’s northern lakes, indulging in my favorite local food spots, or searching for the perfect spot to unwind and recharge
